Meet the Dragon Ladies

Every tournament table is hosted by a Dragon Lady — a Table Captain who brings her own tiles, mat, and signature tablescape to create a uniquely beautiful playing experience.

Dragon Ladies are the women who love the ceremony of mahjong as much as the competition: the collectors, the hostesses, the detail people. You know them. You are them.

Each hosted table has its own personality and style, and because players rotate throughout the tournament, everyone gets to experience a variety of tables, tiles, and atmospheres during the day.

Dragon Ladies serve as the first designated East seat at their table and receive reduced tournament registration plus an invitation to the Dragon Lady Toast.

Pretty tables. Savage play. (just kidding . . .not so savage . . .they’re nice people-really!)
